Then Yahweh God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, you [will be] cursed more than any domesticated animal and more than any wild animal. On your belly you shall go and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.

But you, O God, you will bring them down to [the] pit of corruption. [The] men of bloodshed and deceit will not live half their days, but I will trust you.

Let [the] desert dwellers bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust.

Then he rained meat on them like dust, even winged birds like [the] sand of [the] seas.

You return man to [the] dust, {saying}, "Return, O sons of man."
