When Enosh lived ninety years, he fathered Kenan.

And after Enosh fathered Kenan he lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and fathered sons and daughters.

When Kenan had lived seventy years, he fathered Mahalalel.

And after Kenan had fathered Mahalalel, he lived eight hundred and forty years, and fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.

These [are] the chiefs of the sons of Esau. The sons of Eliphaz, the firstborn of Esau: the chiefs of Teman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,

Othniel son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it, and he gave to him Acsah his daughter as a wife.

Othniel son of Kenaz, the younger brother of Caleb, captured it, and he gave to him Acsah his daughter as a wife.

The {Israelites} cried out to Yahweh, and Yahweh raised up a deliverer for the {Israelites} who delivered them, Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

So the land rested forty years. Then Othniel son of Kenaz died.

The sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah. And the sons of Othniel: Hathath.

The sons of Caleb, the son of Jephunneh: Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sons of Elah: Kenaz.
