The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai, the Netophathite of Zarhi; and in his course were twenty-four thousand. The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah, the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim; and in his course were twenty-four thousand. The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai, the Netophathite of Othniel; and in his course were twenty-four thousand. But Joab and Abishai pursued after Abner, and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah that lies before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.
