So Joseph took the body, wrapped it in clean linen, and put it in his new tomb, which he had cut in the rock; then, after rolling a large boulder to the opening of the tomb, he went away.

He, after buying a linen sheet, took him down and swathed him in the linen, laying him in a tomb which had been cut out of the rock and rolling a boulder up against the opening of the tomb.

This made Jesus chafe afresh, so he went to the tomb; it was a cave with a boulder to close it.

So off they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the boulder and setting the guard.

But a great earthquake took place; an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and went and rolled away the boulder and sat on it.

They said to themselves, "Who will roll away the boulder for us at the opening of the tomb?" (for it was a very large boulder).

The boulder they found rolled away from the tomb,

Now at the spot where he had been crucified there was an orchard, and in the orchard a new tomb where no one had yet been laid;

Woe to you, you irreligious scribes and Pharisees! you are like tombs white-washed; they look comely on the outside, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all manner of impurity. So to men you seem just, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Woe to you Pharisees! you love the front bench in the synagogues and salutations in the marketplaces. Woe to you! you are like unsuspected tombs; men walk over them unawares."
