Thus said Jehovah: The heavens are My throne, And the earth My footstool, Where is this -- the house that ye build for Me? And where is this -- the place -- My rest?
nor by the earth, because it is His footstool, nor by Jerusalem, because it is a city of a great king,
Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His footstool, holy is He.

Once I have sworn by My holiness, I lie not to David, His seed is to the age, And his throne is as the sun before Me, As the moon it is established -- to the age, And the witness in the sky is stedfast. Take away dross from silver, And a vessel for the refiner goeth forth, Take away the wicked before a king, And established in righteousness is his throne.
