And some of them were appointed over the objects, over the objects of the sanctuary, and over the wheat flour and the wine, the olive oil, the frankincense, and the spices. And some of the sons of the priests mixed the fragrant ointment for the spices.

Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it over his head and kissed him and said, "{Has not} Yahweh anointed you as leader over his inheritance?
And you will take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.
[It is] like the fragrant oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, that runs down upon the edges of his robes.
And you will make it [into] holy anointing oil, a spice blend of a fragrant ointment [the] work of a perfumer; it will be holy anointing oil.
And he made the holy anointing oil and the pure fragrant incense--work of a perfumer.

"And take for yourself top quality balsam oils, five hundred [shekels of] flowing myrrh, half [as much]--two hundred and fifty [shekels of] fragrant cinnamon, and two hundred and fifty [shekels of] fragrant reed, and five hundred [shekels of] cassia, according to the sanctuary shekel, and a hin of olive oil. "Eleazar son of Aaron the priest is to supervise the oil of the light source, the incense, {the regular grain offering}, the oil of anointment, the supervision of all the tabernacle and all that [is] in it, in the sanctuary and in its vessels."
and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. According to all that I have commanded you, they will make [it].
and oil for the lamp, balsam oils for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense,
and the altar of incense and its poles; and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense and the entrance curtain for the entrance of the tabernacle;
and the balsam oils and the oil for light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.

And the singers, the descendants of Asaph, [were] at their stations according to the decree of David and Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, the seer of the king. And the gatekeepers [were] at {each gate}. They did not need to depart from their service, for their brothers the Levites had made preparations for them.

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the leader over them {in time past}; Yahweh [was] with him. Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah [was] gatekeeper at the doorway to the tent of assembly. All of them were chosen as gatekeepers at the entrances, two hundred and twelve. They were enrolled by genealogies in their villages. They [were] established [by] David and Samuel the seer on account of their faithfulness. So they and their sons [were] over the gates of the house of Yahweh at the house of the tent as guards. The gatekeepers [were] on four sides: east, west, north, and south. And their brethren in their villages [were] to come [every] seven days {by turn} [to be] with these. For the four mighty gatekeepers, they who [were] Levites, {were entrusted} and [were] over the chambers and over the storerooms of the house of God. And they lodged all around the house of God, for upon them [was] a responsibility. And {they had charge of opening [the house of God] every morning}. And some of them [were] over the utensils of the service, for {they count them} [when] they are brought in and {they count them} [when] they are brought out. And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite and {was entrusted} with the work of the pan breads. And from the sons of the Kohathites, some of their kinsmen [were] over the {showbread} to prepare [it] {every Sabbath}.
