Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the seat of his throne.
And it came to pass on the third day when the morning came, that there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud upon the mount and the voice of the shofar exceeding loud, so that all the people that were in the camp trembled.
And he lowered the heavens and came down, and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub and flew; and he appeared upon the wings of the wind. He placed darkness like tabernacles round about him, dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
Then Solomon said, The LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
He made darkness his hiding place; in his tabernacle round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the heavens.
For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched and that burned with fire nor unto blackness and darkness and tempest
