There we found believers and were invited to stay with them for seven days. And so we came to Rome. Now the believers from there had heard the news about us and had come to meet us as far as Forum of Appius and Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage. And when we entered Rome, Paul was permitted to stay by himself with the soldier who guarded him.


I came to the exiles at Tel-abib, who were living by the Chebar Canal, and I sat there among them stunned for seven days.


Seven days from now I will make it rain on the earth 40 days and 40 nights, and I will wipe off from the face of the earth every living thing I have made.”

So we found some disciples and stayed there seven days. Through the Spirit they told Paul not to go to Jerusalem.
