And as they went on the way, they came to a certain water. And the eunuch said, Behold water: what hindereth me to be baptized?
Then Peter answered, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Ghost, even as we?

Since the world began it was not heard, that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. They answered and said to him, Thou-wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and having found him, he said to him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Sir, who is he, that I may believe on him? Jesus said to him, Thou hast both seen him, and he that talketh with thee is he. And he said, Lord, I believe.

And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in spirit, and testified to the Jews, that Jesus was the Christ.
And Paul said, John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe on him that was to come after him, that is on Jesus. And hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thy heart, that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. For the scripture saith, Every one that believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.
He that faith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
