Surely, no one knows his appointed time! Like fish that are caught in a deadly net, and like birds that are caught in a snare -- just like them, all people are ensnared at an unfortunate time that falls upon them suddenly.

Proud men hide a snare for me; evil men spread a net by the path; they set traps for me. (Selah)
Protect me from the snare they have laid for me, and the traps the evildoers have set. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, while I escape.
