But to what shall I compare this generation? they are like children sitting in the market-places, and calling to their companions, and saying "We have sung and ye have not danced; we have mourned, and ye have not lamented:"
Whereunto therefore shall I compare the men of this generation? and to what are they like? they are like children sitting in the market-place, and calling to one another, and saying, "We have played pleasant tunes to you, and ye have not danced; we have sung mournful ones and ye have not wept:"
