And every one that enters the lists is temperate in all things: they indeed do it that they may receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible one. I therefore so run, not as unobserved: I so fight, not as one that beateth the air:
And if any one contend in the public games, he gains not the crown unless he contend fairly.
