I have called on you, for you will answer me, God. Turn your ear to me. Hear my speech.

"Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry. Don't be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were.

My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.

Yahweh, God of Armies, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. Selah.



Behold, Yahweh's eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness; to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.


He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.
