Then they reached Jericho; and as he was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a considerable crowd, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, the blind beggar who sat beside the road, heard it was Jesus of Nazaret. Then Jesus said, "Go, your faith has made you well;" and he regained his sight at once and followed Jesus along the road.
