Be not tricked; God is not made sport of: for whatever seed a man puts in, that will he get back as grain.
Verse Concepts
By their fruits you will get knowledge of them. Do men get grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree gives good fruit; but the bad tree gives evil fruit. It is not possible for a good tree to give bad fruit, and a bad tree will not give good fruit.
So by their fruits you will get knowledge of them.
Verse Concepts
For no good tree gives bad fruit, and no bad tree gives good fruit. For every tree is judged by its fruit. Men do not get figs from thorns, or grapes from blackberry plants.
Foolish man, it is necessary for the seed which you put into the earth to undergo death in order that it may come to life again: And when you put it into the earth, you do not put in the body which it will be, but only the seed, of grain or some other sort of plant; But God gives it a body, as it is pleasing to him, and to every seed its special body.
