And as Jesus passed by from that place, he saw a man named Matthew, sitting at the custom-house; and he said to him: Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
And after these tilings, he went out and saw a publican named Levi, sitting at the custom-house; and he said to him: Follow me. And leaving all, he arose and followed him.
And he went out again by the sea: and all the multitude came to him, and he taught them. And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphoeus sitting at the custom-house; and he said to him: Follow me. And he arose and followed him.
