And why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and look, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite. First remove the log out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.
The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the crowd, "There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day." Therefore the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites. Does not each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and lead him away to water?
