And Ahab said to Obadiah, "Go through the land, to all the springs of water, and to all the wadis. Perhaps we may find grass and save the horses and mules alive, that we not lose all the animals."

God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.

He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them. He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.


God said, "Let the waters under the sky be gathered together in one gathering, and let the dry land appear;" and it was so. And the waters under the sky gathered to their gatherings, and the dry land appeared. God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas. God saw that it was good.


God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. She went, filled the bottle with water, and gave the boy drink.


She said, "Give me a blessing. Because you have set me in the land of the Negev, give me also springs of water." He gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
