For thou hast broken his heavy yoke and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
Do unto them as unto the Midianites, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison, who perished at Endor; they became as dung for the earth. Make them and their captains like Oreb and like Zeeb; all their princes as Zebah and as Zalmunna:
And the LORD of the hosts shall raise up a scourge against him as the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb and shall raise up his rod upon the sea, by the way of Egypt.
