because of all the evil that the Israelis and Judeans have done to provoke me. Don't forget this fact, dear friends: With the Lord a single day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a single day.
There will be 1,290 days from the time the regular burnt offering is rescinded and the destructive desolation established. Blessed is the one who perseveres and attains to the 1,335 days.
I will give my two witnesses who wear sackcloth the authority to prophesy for 1,260 days."
So the four angels who were ready for that hour, day, month, and year were released to kill one-third of humanity.
