And he said to me; These are those coming up out of great tribulation, who have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. On account of this they are before the throne of God, and they worship him day and night in his temple, and the one sitting upon the throne will spread his tabernacle over them. And they will never hunger or thirst any more; neither will the sun, or any heat, fall on them: because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherdize them, and guide them to the fountains of the waters of life; and God will wipe every tear out of their eyes.

And Jesus responding said to him, Simon, I have something to say to thee. And he says, Speak, Teacher. Simon responding said, I perceive, that he, to whom he forgave the more. And He said to him, You answered correctly. And turning to the woman He said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I came into thy house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with her hairs. Thou gavest me no kiss: she, from the time I came in, did not cease copiously kissing my feet. Thou didst not anoint my head with oil: but she anointed my feet with myrrh. Therefore I say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but he to whom little is forgiven, loveth little. And He said to her; Thy sins are forgiven.

Jesus knew that they wished to ask Him, and said to them, You are seeking with one another concerning this, because I said, A little while, and you see me no more, and again a little while, and you shall see me? Truly, truly, I say unto you, that you will weep and mourn, and the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. When a woman may bring forth she has sorrow, because her hour has come: but when the little child may be born, she remembers her suffering no more, for the joy that a man has been born into the world. read more.
Therefore you indeed also now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one taketh your joy from you. And in that day you will ask of me nothing. Truly, truly, I say unto you, Whatsoever you may ask the Father, He will give it to you in my name. Until now you have asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, in order that your joy may be full. I have spoken these things unto you in parables; the hour comes, when I shall no longer speak to you in parables, but openly will I proclaim to you concerning the Father. In that clay you shall ask in my name: and I do not say, that I will ask the Father for you; for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me as a friend, and you have believed that I came out from God.
