All clean birds ye shall eat And this which ye shall not eat from them: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the sea eagle, And the vulture, and the kite, and the falcon according to its kind, And every raven according to his kind, And the daughter of the ostrich, and the night-hawk, and the sea-gull, and the hawk after his kind, The cormorant, and the ibis and the heron, And the pelican, and the carrion vulture, and the gannet, And the stork, and the sand-piper, according to her kind; the hoopoe and the bat And every creeping thing flying it is unclean to you; they shall not be eaten. Every clean flying thing ye shall eat Ye shall not eat any carcass: to the stranger that is in thy gates ye shall give it, and he shall eat it; or sell it to a foreigner: for thou a holy people to Jehovah thy God.
