Ye shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of LORD your God which I command you.
Thou shall not do so to LORD thy God. For every abomination to LORD, which he hates, they have done to their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods. Whatever thing I command you, that shall ye observe to do. Thou shall not add to it, nor diminish from it.
Every word of God is tried. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Add thou not to his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
