Thematic Bible: Disciples persecuted and dispersed from

Now those also who were dispersed by the persecution which arose on account of Stephen passed on as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no man except the Jews only. And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they arrived at Antioch, spake to the Grecian proselytes, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a vast multitude believing, turned to the Lord.

BUT Saul was delighted with his execution. Now on that very day commenced a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and all, besides the apostles, were dispersed through the regions of Judea and Samaria. Then some pious men assembling, carried Stephen to his grave, and made great lamentation over him.
