For you have heard of my life formerly in Judaism, that I was persecuting the church of God exceedingly, and destroying it: and I was prominent in Judaism above many comrades in my race, being exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
For I testify to them, that they have a zeal of God, but not according to perfect knowledge; for being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
They will put you out of the synagogues: but the hour is coming, that every one killing you may think he is offering service to God.
