And the King answering shall say to them, Verily, I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.
And whosoever shall be a snare to one of the little ones who believe in me, it were better for him if a millstone were hung about his neck, and he cast into the sea.
And he said to his disciples, It cannot be but that offences come, but woe to him by whom they come!
and falling on the earth he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why dost thou persecute me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus, whom thou persecutest.
And ye will be hated of all on account of my name; but he that has endured to the end, he shall be saved.

But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they have not known him that sent me.

For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law: a man's enemies are the men of his own household.
But brother shall deliver up brother to death, and father child; and children shall rise up against parents and shall put them to death;

And having called them, they charged them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

But Saul ravaged the assembly, entering into the houses one after another, and dragging off both men and women delivered them up to prison.
But Saul, still breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, came to the high priest and asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, so that if he found any who were of the way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
But there were false prophets also among the people, as there shall be also among you false teachers, who shall bring in by the bye destructive heresies, and deny the master that bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction;
They shall put you out of the synagogues; but the hour is coming that every one who kills you will think to render service to God;
and said, Lo, I behold the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at the right hand of God. And they cried out with a loud voice, and held their ears, and rushed upon him with one accord; and having cast him out of the city, they stoned him. And they stoned Stephen, praying, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And kneeling down, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And having said this, he fell asleep.
At that time Herod the king laid his hands on some of those of the assembly to do them hurt, and slew James, the brother of John, with the sword.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who insult you and persecute you, that ye may be the sons of your Father who is in the heavens; for he makes his sun rise on evil and good, and sends rain on just and unjust.
If I rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, and exulted when evil befell him; (Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by asking his life with a curse;)
But to you that hear I say, Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you; bless those that curse you; pray for those who use you despitefully. To him that smites thee on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him that would take away thy garment, forbid not thy body-coat also.

And on the morrow as he left, taking out two denarii he gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, Take care of him, and whatsoever thou shalt expend more, I will render to thee on my coming back. Which now of these three seems to thee to have been neighbour of him who fell into the hands of the robbers? And he said, He that shewed him mercy. And Jesus said to him, Go, and do thou likewise.
If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt certainly bring it back to him. If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under its burden, beware of leaving it to him: thou shalt certainly loosen it with him.
Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thy heart be glad when he stumbleth; lest Jehovah see it, and it be evil in his sight, and he turn away his anger from him.
And Saul said, I have sinned: return, my son David; for I will no more do thee harm, because my life was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have acted foolishly, and have erred exceedingly.
Be vigilant, watch. Your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour.
And Jehovah said to Satan, Whence comest thou? And Satan answered Jehovah and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And Jehovah said to Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God and abstaineth from evil? And Satan answered Jehovah and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded to have you, to sift you as wheat;
But the Lord stood with me, and gave me power, that through me the proclamation might be fully made, and all those of the nations should hear; and I was delivered out of the lion's mouth. The Lord shall deliver me from every wicked work, and shall preserve me for his heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for the ages of ages. Amen.
Whom resist, stedfast in faith, knowing that the selfsame sufferings are accomplished in your brotherhood which is in the world.
For the arms of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful according to God to the overthrow of strongholds;
For the rest, brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the might of his strength. Put on the panoply of God, that ye may be able to stand against the artifices of the devil: because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against principalities, against authorities, against the universal lords of this darkness, against spiritual power of wickedness in the heavenlies.read more.
For this reason take to you the panoply of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having accomplished all things, to stand. I will therefore that the younger marry, bear children, rule the house, give no occasion to the adversary in respect of reproach. For already some have turned aside after Satan.
I have combated the good combat, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Subject yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil.

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; deliver me from the deceitful and unrighteous man.

In thee, Jehovah, do I trust: let me never be ashamed. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me; incline thine ear unto me, and save me. Be to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.read more.
My God, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

The last enemy that is annulled is death.
but has been made manifest now by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has annulled death, and brought to light life and incorruptibility by the glad tidings;
and death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, even the lake of fire.
And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away.
