And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years: and let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made the two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night'stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;

Consider and answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the'sleep of death;
And now for a little moment grace hath been showed from Jehovah our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
