And ye said, Behold, LORD our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man, and he lives. Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands. LORD is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.

When the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mount. And Moses went down from the mount to the people, and sanctified the people, and they washed their garments. And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Come not near a woman. And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets that were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. And the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved upon the tablets.
And be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to mount Sinai, and present thyself there to me on the top of the mount. And no man shall come up with thee, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount, neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount. And he hewed two tablets of stone like the first. And Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to mount Sinai, as LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand two tablets of stone.
And LORD spoke to Moses on mount Sinai, saying,
These are the commandments, which LORD commanded Moses for the sons of Israel on mount Sinai.
Now these are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that LORD spoke with Moses in mount Sinai:
For who is there of all flesh, who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

And LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light, that they might go by day and by night. The pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night departed not from before the people.
