And Moses came, and he told the people all the words of Yahweh and all the regulations. And all the people answered with one voice, and they said, "All the words that Yahweh has spoken we will do." And Moses wrote all the words of Yahweh, and he rose early in the morning, and he built an altar at the base of the mountain and [set up] twelve memorial stones for the twelve tribes of Israel. And he sent young men from the {Israelites}, and they offered burnt offerings, and they sacrificed sacrifices [as] fellowship offerings to Yahweh [using] bulls. read more.
And Moses took half of the blood, and he put [it] in bowls, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. And he took the scroll of the covenant and read [it] in the hearing of the people, and they said, "All that Yahweh has spoken we will do, and we will listen." And Moses took the blood and sprinkled [it] on the people, and he said, "Look, the blood of the covenant that Yahweh has made with you in accordance with all these words."

"You [are] standing {today}, all of you, {before} Yahweh your God, your leaders, your tribes, your elders, and your officials, all the men of Israel, your little children, your women and your aliens who [are] in the midst of your camp, from the choppers of your wood to the drawers of your water, {in order for you to enter into the covenant of Yahweh your God}, and into his oath that Yahweh your God [is] {making with you} {today}, read more.
in order to establish you {today} {to himself} as a people and [so that] he may be for you [as] God, [just] as he {promised} to you and {just as} he swore to your ancestors, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. "Now I am not {making this covenant} and this oath {with you alone}. But with {whoever is standing here} with us {today} {before} Yahweh our God, and with {whoever is not standing here} with us {today}.


And to Moses he said, "Go up to Yahweh--you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy from the elders of Israel--and you will worship at a distance. And Moses {alone} will come near to Yahweh, and they will not come near, and the people will not go up with him." And Moses came, and he told the people all the words of Yahweh and all the regulations. And all the people answered with one voice, and they said, "All the words that Yahweh has spoken we will do." read more.

"And when you saw that Nahash, the king of [the] {Ammonites}, was coming against you, you said to me, 'No! A king shall reign over us,' although Yahweh your God [is] your king.

And so then why shall we die, for this great fire will consume us if {we continue} to hear the voice of Yahweh our God [any] longer, and [so] we shall die? For who [is there of] all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire as we [have heard it] {and remained alive}? [You] go near and hear {everything} that Yahweh our God will say; and [then] you tell us all that Yahweh our God tells you, and we will listen, and we will do [it].' read more.
"And Yahweh heard the sound of your words {when you spoke to me}, and Yahweh said to me, 'I have heard the sound of the words of this people that they have spoken to you; [they] are right [with respect to] all that they have spoken. {If only} {they had such a mind}'; [that is], to fear me and to keep all my commandments {at all times}, so that {it will go well} for them and for their children {forever}.

Then he said, "Yahweh came from Sinai, and he dawned upon them from Seir; he shone forth from Mount Paran, and he came with myriads of holy ones, at his right hand a fiery law for them. Moreover, {he loves his people}, all the holy ones [were] in your hand, and they bowed down to your feet, {each one accepted directions from you}. A law Moses instructed for us, [as a] possession [for] the assembly of Jacob. read more.
And [then] a king arose in Jeshurun, at the gathering of the leaders of [the] people, {united were the tribes of Israel}.
