I tell you, even though he won’t get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his friend’s persistence, he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.
Until now you have asked for nothing in My name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.

“When you speak all these things to them, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer you. You must therefore declare to them: This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the Lord their God and would not accept discipline. Truth has perished—it has disappeared from their mouths. Cut off the hair of your sacred vow and throw it away. They have turned their backs to Me and not their faces. Though I taught them time and time again, they do not listen and receive discipline.
Job’s friends are dismayed and can no longer answer;
words have left them. Should I continue to wait now that they are silent,
