At that time Jesus answering said, I thank thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and intelligent, and hast revealed them to babes. Yes, Father, for so it has seemed good in thy sight. All things are given me by my Father; and no one knows the Son but the Father; and no one knows the Father but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
And turning to his disciples, he said, All things are delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is but the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
Then Jesus cried, teaching in the temple and saying, You both know me and know whence I am; and I have not come of myself; but he that sent me is true, whom you know not; I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.

I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gayest me to do. And now glorify thou me, Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I ask not that thou wouldst take them out of the world, but that thou wouldst keep them from evil. They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by thy truth; thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world: and I sanctify myself for them, that they also may be sanctified by truth. And I ask not for these only, but for those also who shall believe on me through their word, that all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou hast given me I have given them, that they may be one as we are one, I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
