But they themselves were filled with rage, and discussed together what they might do to Jesus.

But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign over us.’



So when the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they cried out saying, “Crucify, crucify!” Pilate *said to them, “Take Him yourselves and crucify Him, for I find no guilt in Him.”


"Because you have had everlasting enmity and have delivered the sons of Israel to the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time of the punishment of the end, therefore as I live," declares the Lord GOD, "I will give you over to bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you; since you have not hated bloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you.

May all who hate Zion
Be put to shame and turned backward;


You cause us to turn back from the adversary;
And those who hate us have taken spoil for themselves.

But they will be put to shame.

and you will be hated by all because of My name.







Now the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, and He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. Leah conceived and bore a son and named him Reuben, for she said, "Because the LORD has seen my affliction; surely now my husband will love me." Then she conceived again and bore a son and said, "Because the LORD has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also." So she named him Simeon.
