And they went into Capernaum; and immediately, on the sabbath, he entered the synagogue, and taught. And they were astonished at his teaching; for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes. And there was in their synagogue a man who had an unclean spirit; and he cried out, read more.
saying: Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Nazarene? Hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying: Be silent, and come out of him. And the unclean spirit threw him into convulsions, and cried with a loud voice, and came out of him. And all were amazed, so that they questioned one another, saying: What means this? What new teaching is this, that with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him? And his fame immediately went abroad into all the surrounding country of Galilee.

And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the sabbath-days. And they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority. And there was in the synagogue a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice, read more.

And amazement came upon all, and they spoke one to another, saying: "What teaching is this? for with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out. And his fame went abroad into every place of the country round about.
