And the seventh day, the Sabbath to Jehovah thy God: thou shalt not do any work, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy servant, and thy maid, and thine ox, and thine ass, and all thy cattle, and thy stranger who is in thy gates; so that thy servant and thy maid shall rest like thyself.
And God will complete in the seventh day his work which he made, and he will rest in the seventh day from all his work which he made. And God will praise the seventh day, and will consecrate it, because in it he ceased from all his works which God formed to make.
For six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all which is in them, and he will rest in the seventh day: for this Jehovah praised the seventh day and consecrated it.

For if Jesus had caused them to rest, he would not have spoken of another day after these things. Therefore a celebration of a sabbath remains to the people of God. For he having come into his rest, he also has ceased from his works, as God from his own. Therefore we should be earnest to come into that rest, lest any should fall in the same pattern of unbelief.
