At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report concerning Jesus, and said to his servants, "This is John the Immerser; He arose from the dead; and therefore do the powers work in Him."

And the king Herod heard of Him, (for His name became famous), and he said, "John the Immerser has risen from the dead; and, because of this, the powers are working in Him." And Herod said, "John I beheaded; but Who is This concerning Whom I hear such things?" And he was seeking to see Him.
