And the chief priests and the principal men of the Jews brought charges against Paul; and they urged him,
The high priest Ananias commanded those standing beside him to strike him on the mouth.
After five days the high priest Ananias came down with some elders, with an attorney named Tertullus, and they brought their charges against Paul before the governor.
