The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their own power; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end?

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned my holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and the common, neither have they shown difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Hear you this, O priests; and hearken, you house of Israel; and give you ear, O house of the king; for judgment is for you, because you have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

And as bands of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh in Naphtali, and said unto him, Has not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

As I live, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel is by the sea, so shall he come.

And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand: is not the LORD gone out before you? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

Hear you this, O priests; and hearken, you house of Israel; and give you ear, O house of the king; for judgment is for you, because you have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

Then said he unto Zebah and Zalmunna, What manner of men were they whom you slew at Tabor? And they answered, As you are, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then you knew my path. In the way in which I walked have they secretly laid a snare for me.

The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set traps for me. Selah.

Hear you this, O priests; and hearken, you house of Israel; and give you ear, O house of the king; for judgment is for you, because you have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

The proud have dug pits for me, which is not after your law.

For among my people are found wicked men: they lie in wait, as he that sets snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul.

The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I strayed not from your precepts.

Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the traps of the workers of iniquity.

Let a cry be heard from their houses, when you shall bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have dug a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.

And the border reaches to Tabor, and Shahazumah, and Bethshemesh; and the end of their border was at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
