Condescension of God » Invites sinners, saying, "come now, and let us reason together,"
Come now we will confute together Jehovah will say: if your sins shall be as deep scarlet, they shall be white as snow; if they shall be red as crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye shall be willing and hear, ye shall eat the good of the land. And if ye shall refuse and rebel, ye shall be eaten by the sword: for the mouth of Jehovah spake.

Rebellion » The reward for rebelling against the lord
Now go, write it to them upon a tablet, and engrave it upon a book, and it shall be for the latter day, forever even forever. For thus said Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In turning back and in rest shall ye be saved; in quiet and in trust shall be your strength, and ye would not. And ye will say, No; for upon horses we will flee: for this ye shall flee: and upon the swift will we ride; for this they pursuing you shall be swift.
