The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to bring forth young, and discovereth the thick bushes; in his temple doth every man speak of his honour.

There shall strange visures and monstrous beasts meet one another, and the wild keep company together. There shall the llama lie, and have her lodging.



And Babylon, that glory of kingdoms and beauty of the Chaldeans' honor, shall be destroyed, even as God destroyed Sodom and Gomorra. It shall never be more inhabited; neither shall there be any more dwelling there, from generation to generation. The Arabians shall make no more tents there; neither shall the shepherds make their folds there any more; but wild beasts shall lie there, and the houses shall be full of great owls. Thorns shall grow in their palaces, nettles and thistles in their strongholds; that the dragons may have their pleasure therein, and that they may be a court for Ostriches.

The wild beasts shall worship me: the dragon, and the Ostrich. For I shall give water in the wilderness, and streams in the desert: that I may give drink to my people, whom I choose.


Therefore shall wild beasts, Apes, and Ostriches dwell therein: for there shall never man dwell there, neither shall any man have his habitation there for evermore.
