Woe to the sinful nation, people heavy with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, sons who are corrupt! They have forsaken Jehovah! They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They have turned away from him.

The inhabitants of the earth pollute the earth. They transgress laws and violate statutes. They break the everlasting covenant. A curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are found guilty. Therefore, those living on the earth are burned, and few men are left.
