Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds: for riches are not forever, nor does even the crown endure to all generations.

Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So then with the mind, I myself serve God's law, but with the flesh, the sin's law.

Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from a pure heart fervently: having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding Word of God.
