Produce your case, says LORD. Bring forth your strong reasons, says the King of Jacob. Let them bring forth, and declare to us what shall happen. Declare ye the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them, or show us things to come. When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and dies in it, in his iniquity that he has done, he shall die. Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed, and does that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. read more.

From the days of your fathers ye have turned aside from my ordinances, and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says LORD of hosts. But ye say, How shall we return? With what shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to thy word.
O Israel, hope in LORD, for with LORD there is loving kindness, and with him is plentiful redemption.

Yea, truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. And LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him. And his righteousness, it upheld him. I will make mention of the loving kindnesses of LORD, [and] the praises of LORD, according to all that LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his merci For he said, Surely, they are my people, sons that will not deal falsely. So he was their Savior. In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the [heavenly] agent of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. And he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
Hear the word of LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock. For LORD has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.
