Thy princes shall be as the locusts and thy captains as the great grasshoppers which camp in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun arises, they flee away, and it is not known where they were.
And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be eaten up; and break down its wall, and it shall be trodden down:
He that digs a pit shall fall into it, and whosoever breaks a hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns, but the path of the righteous is made plain.
Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns and make a wall that she shall not find her paths.

But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us take his inheritance. And they took hold of him and cast him out of the vineyard and slew him. Therefore, when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
