If there be with thee a poor man, one of thy brothers, within any of thy gates in thy land which LORD thy God gives thee, thou shall not harden thy heart, nor shut thy hand from thy poor brother, but thou shall surely open thy hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need which he wants. And LORD will guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones. And thou shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

And he also said to the man who invited him, When thou make a dinner or a supper, do not call thy friends, nor thy brothers, nor thy kinsmen, nor prosperous neighbors, lest they also invite thee in return, and a recompense be made But when thou make a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and thou will be blessed, because they do not have to recompense thee, for it will be recompensed to thee at the resurrection of the righteous.

O that men would praise LORD for his loving kindness, and for his wonderful works to the sons of men! For he satisfies the longing soul, and he fills the hungry soul with good,

For LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation. This is my resting place forever. Here I will dwell, for I have desired it. I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.
