But the wicked shall pass, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be like the beauty of pastures; they are consumed, like smoke they perish. The wicked borrows, and never pays again; but the righteous shows mercy, and gives. For His blessed ones shall inherit the earth; and those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

So says Jehovah, Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Jehovah. For he shall be like a juniper in the desert, and shall not see when good comes. But he shall live in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land that is not inhabited.


The poor and needy seek water, and there is none; their tongue fails for thirst, I Jehovah will hear them, I the God of Israel will not leave them.

For this My people go into exile without knowledge, and their honorable men into famine, and his multitude is dried up with thirst.
