6 Bible Verses about Comfort, When Lonely

But I am always with You; You have held me by my right hand. You shall lead me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have carved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are forever before Me.

And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever, the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. God causes the lonely to live at home; He brings out those who are bound with chains; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

In His holy dwelling God is the father of the fatherless, and the judge of the widows.
