Then the tribunal came near and took him and commanded him to be bound with two chains and demanded to know who he was and what he had done.

For this cause therefore I have called for you, to see you and to speak with you: because for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

and when they had bound him, they led him away and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

If it seems good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seems ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee; where it seems good and convenient for thee to go, go there.

So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward and sent him forth.

Binding his foal unto the vine and his ass's colt unto the choice roots; he washed his garments in wine and his covering in the blood of grapes;

all these Jews returned out of all places where they were driven and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah in Mizpah, and gathered wine and much fruit.

And in this mountain the LORD of the hosts shall make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of purified wines, of fat things full of marrow, of purified liquids.
