Many of them said, He hath a demon, and is mad; why do ye hear him?
The multitude answered, Thou hast a demon! Who seeketh to kill thee?
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebul; and, He casteth out the demons through the prince of the demons. and if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand; and if Satan rise up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end. Moreover, no one can enter into a strong mans house, and plunder his goods, unless he first bind the strong man; and then he will plunder his house. Truly do I say to you, All sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme; but he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath no forgiveness forever, but is exposed to everlasting sin. Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
