Now the Jews murmured at him for saying, "I am the bread which has come down from heaven." They said, "Is this not Jesus the son of Joseph? We know his father and mother. How can he claim now, 'I have come down from heaven'?" Jesus replied to them, "Stop murmuring to yourselves.
The Jews then wrangled with one another, saying, "How can he give us his flesh to eat?"
