And had suffered many things from many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was not relieved, but rather grew worse,

But now they that are younger than I, have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to set with the dogs of my flock. Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their food. They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them, as after a thief;) To dwell in the clefts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks. Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were collected. They were children of fools, yes, children of base men: they were viler than the earth. And now I am their song, yes, I am their by-word. They abhor me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him? Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God? Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him? He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons. Shall not his excellence make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you? Your remembrances are like to ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay. Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.

Then Job answered and said, I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all. Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest? read more.
I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake my head at you.

Are there not mockers with me? and doth not my eye continue in their provocation?

Then Job answered and said, How long will ye vex my soul, and break me in pieces with words? These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me. read more.
And be it indeed that I have erred, my error remaineth with myself. If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, and plead against me my reproach:


Is there no balm in Gilead: is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered.

And Jesus answering, said to them, They that are well need not a physician; but they that are sick.
